I have posted this again. I have been in contact with the daughter of the English man who built this dragster in the sixtys and who raced it. She tells me that the trail has gone cold and now it seams that her father Harold who is now 85 years old is not doing so well.

It would be very cool to find it and soon, can anybody help?

Here is there website http://www.stripduster.co.uk/index.htm

This dragster was imported into Germany in 1980 from England by Roy Morris my father, then sold to a local guy in Frankfurt.

He then later sold it to Gerd Habbermann who race it with the Volve motor for some time. As below in the following picture.

Gerd then sold it on and it change to the next picture.

Gerd had inform me that this dragster was on ebay at one time, can anybody tell us who now has the dragster now?

One more thing if you have any picture's from when this car was raced in Germany please contact me thanks Tony

Hi Tony !

The cold trail is me, well, not for owning "Stripduster",
but for not reporting back to the UK.
The dragster seems to be in posession of someone in northern germany,
who never ran it but bought it as an addition to his private collection of unusual cars.
This person seems to be both wealthy and spleeny,
he leads an independent lifestyle, and is not very often at his home.
Currently he seems to be on a month/year-long vacation in Africa,
that is the latest I have heard about him.
If anything new develops, I will give notice to the british family,
I know that they want the car back, but nothing can be done at the moment.
Regards,
Benni
