Frage an die Experten der rustikale Technik (Vergaser)
Hallo,
ich habe hier ein kleines Problem.
Nachdem ich hier einen Motor (Clevland Ford 408) von Edelbrock auf Holly 830DP umgebaut habe "dieselt" der Motor nach wie "Sau" beim ausschalten.
Da bei einer Einspritzung ja auch Benzin abgeschaltet wird kenne ich solche Probleme bisher nicht. Und wieso ist das bei dem einen Vergaser und bei dem anderen nicht? :gruebel:

Hello Racefink,
First thing I would check is that the boosters aren't leaking at idle, if they are try lowering the float level. The boosters are at the top of the venturis and are shaped kind of like a bell.
If that doesn't help, try lowering the idle speed screw since you might be off of the idle circuit and open the set screw on the secondaries to allow more are to bleed in at idle. You want your idle transfer slots to look like little squares.
