daß JEDES Kraftfahrzeug ab 2018 eine Haftpflichtversicherung braucht.

Auch Aufsitz-Rasenmäher, Gabelstapler, Auto-Scooter beim Rummel..........und Rennfahrzeuge.

Ihr glaubt es nicht ? Leider kein Witz, wie man heute auf Eurodragster lesen konnte, in Pistonheads war das auch schon Thema.

It's too early to say definitively what will become of your lawnmowers, quad bikes, tractors, buggies and golf carts.
But the two main viable options have already been outlined.

One is a full implementation of the directive as interpreted in the Vnuk judgment.
That would mean third party insurance – already the minimum level of cover for your car – becoming mandatory for non-roadgoing vehicles and vehicles used solely on private land.
This could mean that your lawnmower would need an insurance policy.
According to a government impact assessment, it could also include
"mobility scooters, motor sports vehicles, electrically assisted pedal cycles, segways, agricultural vehicles, industrial vehicles,
fork lift trucks, ride-on lawnmowers, and fairground vehicles (e.g. dodgems)".

The second option, which is what the government would prefer, is a more nuanced implementation.
This would mean that third party insurance would be required on a wider range of vehicles than it is now, but not necessarily everything.
It could also mean that only vehicles used on land that the public has access to (a definition distinct from public land) would need insurance.
Again, nothing is decided, and there are situations in which the implications of modified legislation (in line with proposals to amend the directive) are unclear.

Dieser Artikel ist vom Januar, mittlerweile hat sich die EU Gesetzgebung entschieden, und ratet mal, für welche Option ?

Rächtäch, Version 1 ist durchgekommen und soll ab 2018 in allen EU Staaten gültig werden.

Soweit zumindest mein Kenntnis-Stand, das wäre nicht so toll, weiß hier jemand mehr zum Thema, mache ich hier die Pe Esse scheu ?
