EHRA in June début.
15th February: The European Hot Rod Association, a sanctioning body created to establish a world-class Championship drag racing series in Europe, announced today that its Championship Drag Racing Series will début in Berlin, Germany at the MZA-Luckau Drag Strip on 20th June. The announcement was made today by EHRA Co-Founders, Roy Sciacca and Aric Gastwirth.

The EHRA Championship Drag Racing Series is a modern-day, man-on-man, head-to-head, may the best man win competition. Coupled with a grand midway full of non-stop entertainment and live music, the 2003 EHRA season will bring audiences one of the fastest ever pro-championship drag racing series in European history.

The competition will feature five classes of the most spectacular nitro-methane and alcohol burning racing machines ever built. EHRA’s classes include Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car, Pro Mod, Pro Stock Truck and Superbike.

The point standings will kick off in Berlin and climax at the finals in Barcelona. The five-country journey and tour calendar includes:

-20th-22nd June Berlin, Germany: MZA-Luckau Drag Strip
-27th-29th June Budapest, Hungary: Turkel Airstrip
- 4th- 6th July Vienna, Austria: Arena Nova
-11th-13th July Riccione, Italy: Santa Monica Circuit
-18th-20th July Barcelona, Spain: Circuit de Catalunya
