800 km to get to Wittstock and yes,we wanna go back home after 3 days of racing,that's another 800....makes around 1600.
Doesn't matter what the exact distance might be,but for most teams this is the main issue,as most of the racers live in the western part of Holland.
If you have an old truck/coach as racetransporter like we had that uses 400 ltrs of fuel for such a weekend-trip,then you can do the math.
A trip to England with the ferry,same old truck-9 passengers,would cost the same...been there ,done that.
And then you could also watch FIA / FIM when you become a first round loser.
I don't say that people shouldn't go to these German events,but you can only spend your money once.
Of course,if your team exist of a good number of people ,you could split costs.
Some are more fortunate than others,that's life...
