Habe wieder mal in den Erinnerungen gekramt, und das da kam heraus.
Vielleicht was von Interesse und etwas off topic am Schluss für dieses Forum, denke aber trotzdem, dass es passt...
Sagt mir, was ihr davon haltet!

Hi Pelle,
your friend is Rob Guerain, I remember the car being very good (and scary) looking, a european PM before its time,
what happened to the car and Rob ?
The Hestermann Family must have been good friends with Cronquist, because they had "Lövén" Decals and paint on their cars.
It was indeed Rob Guerain that bought both Crongvist's Corvettes. Rob never seriously raced the ProMod 63 Vette but fitted the car first with a nitrous engine and later with a blown combo. This Batmobile Vette was later sold back to Sweden and is now in the hands of Mathias Wulcan I believe.
After this Guerain bought a Top Alcohol Funny Car from Bucky Austin, the "Westcoast Hitter" from Washington and competed in the 2000 NHRA Pomona race with Lex Joon as a driver. That FC was later sold to Sweden and one of the engines ended up in Fast Freddy's truck. Unbelievable but that same FC was earlier this year bought by Ramon vd Weurf from Holland who used the chassis for his nostalgia FC and the (modern) Firebird FC body was sold to Gerd and Marcus Habermann.
Danke für die Infos!
Habe neu ein Video über Cronquist gepostet, im Forum History of Dragracing.
Gruss peter
