das ist nicht ganz richtig!

Es ist an diesem WE zu unterscheiden zwischen Public Racer und Dragracer.

Public Race Days:
Für Personen mit Straßenzugelassenem Fahrzeug und nach dem Erwerb eines Tokens vorort.

Test & Tune
Für DMSB Lizenzinahber und vorallem Fahrzeuge die 98dBA nicht überschreiten. Für das Test und Tune muss man sich anmelden und es ist begrenzt auf die Teams, die sich für die NitrOlympX angemeldet haben und ihr Fahrzeug einstellen möchten.

Dear Fil,

the german Competition Eliminator rules are online on the german governing motorsports board website, but unfortunately they are only in German.
Anyhow here is a link, maybe you know someone that can help you read it. The german index for 2009 are also on that page:

Otherwise I suggest you contact the Hockenheimring NitrOlympX Raceoffice +49 - 6205 - 101816 and ask them for the contact of the technical inspector (Mike Barnett), maybe you can contact him directly and ask him what you need to know.

danke fürs Tomaten von den Augen nehmen bezüglich Public Race Day.
Bin eben immer nur als T&T Starter an diesem WE in Hock aufgeschlagen.

Merlin, Fil,

the swedish indexes are updated during the year, last update was July 16th.

However the german indexes for CE are valid the whole year until the 31st of December and do not get updated during the race season, so it is better to check out the german index´s.

your matter needs to be treated; because we (comp eliminator racer) are happy about everyone who like`s to race with us.

About AN/A: i was assuming that your car is running on nitrous - that is
apperently not the case.
So we got your car weight; what we need is the displacement of your
motor to figure out the right class (within comp eliminator) for you.

Björn, it is a billet, loud and clear 815". If the track is good, we might be able to put down some very low 7's..... maybe less

Sorry Andrea but I must correct you on who can Test & Tune this year.

Anyone whether registered for the NitrolympX or not with a Car or Bike that dosent exceed (98 db) noise is welcome to enter their vehicle for Test & Tune 8-9-August 2009.
The (98 db) requirement will be strictly enforced by the City of Hockenheim.
Entry form and payment must be submitted before or no later than 31 July 2009.

PS; I was long ago in contact with the drivers from Greece and gave them the OK to enter our event this year.

Mr. Lackey,

Do you have any information as to how this sound level test will be applied? I assume there will be some type of standard. Is every car tested in a certain way, or does a city representative simply sit in the stands, watch the meter and inform race control of infractions?

My brother would like to bring his vehicle which is equipped with mufflers, but the sound level test could be the decider.
